I am responsible for the strategic management and development of a range of programmes that aim to increase the influence, impact and sustainability of bassac members and the wider voluntary and community sector.

Previously I worked in health and social care settings and most recently, as deputy chief executive of Action for Advocacy, worked with the advocacy sector to ensure disadvantaged individuals and groups had support to say what they want, secure their rights and access the services they need.

I was born in Leeds (life long Leeds United supporter) and lived in the East Midlands and North East before moving to South London in 1999. In my spare time I enjoy reading, live music and theatre. I also love to cook with wine, and sometimes I even put it in the food!
