Can I get a work permit from bassac?

Our ability to gain a UK work permit for potential employees from outside the EEA depends upon the skill level required for the job. If we can demonstrate that we could not recruit for a position from within the European Economic Area (EEA), it is generally possible to obtain a work permit on the successful candidate’s behalf.

However, the Home Office requires proof that we have been unsuccessful in recruiting within the EEA. Before we can recruit from outside the EEA, we must have advertised the vacancy conventionally for a minimum of four weeks.

We very rarely obtain work permits for roles that could be filled by a candidate from within the EEA. Similar rules apply in many countries other than the UK.
