Campaigning and Advocacy

bassac is a delivery partner for the Campaigning and Advocacy workstream, led by NCVO and funded by Capacitybuilders.

The workstream has launched its own website - Louder - to share ideas and resources around campaigning and advocacy work.

The campaigning workstream supports community anchors and other community groups to build their skills, confidence and effectiveness in campaigning and advocacy.

Our mission is to develop, promote and champion excellence in campaigning and advocacy across the third sector.

We do this by ensuring effective support for the sector and by building the capacity of support providers to influence decision makers effectively.

Who we support

The Campaigning and Advocacy workstream is a multi-faceted programme with several different groups of target beneficiaries:

• regional, local and community level support providers
• sub-sectoral national support providers and infrastructure bodies
• support providers for marginalised groups
• other potential users of capacity building programmes
