bassac believes that working in partnership with other organisations across all sectors can produce better quality programmes and more efficient delivery of services.
We run the successful Collaboration Benefits programme together with Action with Communities in Rural England, Community Foundation Network, and the Institute for Voluntary Action Research. The Collaboration Benefits programme supports organisations to collaborate effectively and provides free training, resources and information.
bassac runs the Collaborate for Commissioning project, which helps organisations like our members to take part in the commissioning process.
Our commitment to collaboration isn’t limited to the programmes we run - it informs every aspect of our work. Our key collaboration is with our members – listening to their views in order to create our policy messages to take to government.
bassac is part of the Community Alliance along with Development Trusts Association and Community Matters. We are also a delivery partner for the campaigning and advocacy workstream of the Improving Support programme, funded by Capacitybuilders.
