bassac members are diverse community-based organisations and development agencies that work with people facing discrimination and disadvantage, to change their lives.
They have a multi-purpose approach which means they service and support their local communities in a variety of ways, tailored to fit the individual needs of local people.
This might include:
- childcare provision
- befriending for older people
- advice services
- youth work
- community cafes
- basic skills training
- access to finance/business support.
