programmes

Community development has always been the cornerstone of what bassac and its members do. This covers just about everything: from creating an environment in which small neighbourly gestures can flourish, to lobbying policy makers to ensure large scale regeneration projects bring wealth and opportunity to those who need it most.

bassac believes none of this is possible unless everyone involved in the development process – from local resident to policy maker - is engaged in a partnership of mutual learning.

Have a look at some of the programmes we are involved with. These contribute towards creating a sustainable force capable of leaving a lasting impression on communities often bypassed by mainstream policy, economics and definitions of social justice.
